Sakai Moving Service (TYO:9039) reported preliminary sales of 22.6 billion yen for the July-September quarter, inching up 0.3% from a year earlier, according to a Monday filing with the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The Kanto region recorded 8.0 billion yen in sales, up 4.2%, while Chubu and Tokai posted 3.2 billion yen, rising 2.3%.
Hokkaido and Tohoku reached 1.9 billion yen in sales, down 1.5%, while Kinki hit 4.1 billion yen, falling 2.8%.
Sales in Chugoku and Shikoku fell 12% to 1.5 billion yen while Kyushu and Okinawa showed a 3.3% drop to 3.1 billion yen.
Sales in other regions grew about 28% to 671 million yen.
In September alone, the logistics company's preliminary sales rose 0.9% to 7.2 billion yen.
