DeSoto Resources (ASX:DES) expanded the power auger program at its Timbakouna project in Guinea, with a further 200 drill holes added as new targets emerge, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company completed 352 power auger holes to date, spanning 3,473 meters, with 1,403 samples collected for assay, the filing said.

Assay results from the current program are pending, per the filing.
