ServiceNow (NOW) announced a new tool that verifies the authorized scope of AI agents and model context protocol servers, the company said Thursday.
The AI Passport tool uses cryptographically signed credentials to define what AI agents can access and do in real time. It can restrict or terminate agents that operate outside their authorized scope, ServiceNow said.
The company said it is building a production-ready implementation with Nvidia's (NVDA) Open Agent Safety Platform.
AI Passport, shadow AI detection and AI Cost Management are expected to be available in Q4, the company said.
ServiceNow shares were 2% higher in early Thursday trading.
