Aeries Technology (AERT) is in early acquisition talks with Essar Group-backed Black Box in a deal that could value Aeries at $70 million to $90 million, CNBC reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The deal structure, financing and timeline have not been finalized, and it is unclear whether Black Box would acquire the whole company or a controlling interest, according to the report.
