Apple (AAPL) has hired former Meta executive Scott Tucker as its new global litigation chief, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Tucker will oversee commercial and patent litigation worldwide and legal matters involving Apple's financial services. He previously served as Meta's deputy general counsel and litigation chief.
Tucker's appointment reunites him with Apple General Counsel Jennifer Newstead, who joined Apple in March after six years as Meta's top lawyer.
Apple's current commercial and competition litigation chief, Heather Grenier, will report to Tucker while remaining on Newstead's legal leadership team, Bloomberg reported.
Apple did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
