Nokia (NOK) and ICEYE signed a letter of intent with Ukraine's Ministry of Defence to explore cooperation in space, ICEYE said Thursday in a statement.

The agreement aims to support Ukraine's defense capabilities, particularly by developing sovereign satellite communications systems.

Shares of Nokia were down more than 14% in Thursday afternoon trading.
