SK hynix (KRX:000660) said its unit Solidigm is reviewing options to strengthen competitiveness and expand production capacity, but no decision has been finalized on a reported 60 trillion won U.S. NAND plant.
The company was responding to a Maeil Business Newspaper report dated Oct. 29, claiming Solidigm plans to build a new NAND flash facility in the U.S. at that cost.
The company said it will disclose once specific details are confirmed, or within one month at the latest, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
