POET Technologies (POET) said Monday it has named Giovanni Pacelli its chief financial officer, effective Nov. 2.

Pacelli succeeded Thomas Mika, who will remain with the company through Dec. 2 to support the transition, POET Technologies said.

Pacelli joins the company from Silicon Labs (SLAB), where he served as senior director of finance, POET Technologies added.
