Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI President Greg Brockman said the company earns most of its revenue from enterprise customers and believes it will be ready to go public next year, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing comments at a conference.
Brockman said OpenAI has been expanding business sales to compete with rival Anthropic, including through its Codex agent, according to the report.
When asked if the company will be ready for its IPO next year, he said, "I think so," Reuters reported.
OpenAI did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
