New York Times (NYT) has started exclusive talks to acquire social network Letterboxd for about $330 million, The New York Times reported Thursday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

The companies have discussed keeping Letterboxd co-founders Matthew Buchanan and Karl von Randow at the helm, one of the sources told the publication.

The companies didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
