Million Cities (02892) Reports Interim Results with Loss Attributable to Shareholders Narrowing 96.4% YoY to HK$2.2 Million

Million Cities (02892) announced its interim results for 2025, reporting revenue of HK$41.4 million, down 10.2% year-on-year. Gross profit reached HK$16.5 million, representing an 11.5% increase compared to the same period last year. The company recorded a loss attributable to equity shareholders of HK$2.2 million, which narrowed significantly by 96.4% year-on-year. Loss per share was 0.29 cents.

According to the announcement, the reduction in losses was primarily attributed to impairment provisions on other receivables from the company's associate companies that were recognized in the first half of 2024, as well as accrued interest payable by associate companies. The company did not recognize such impairment provisions or make related accruals in the first half of 2025. Additionally, administrative expenses and income tax decreased substantially compared to the same period last year.

As a result, the company recorded a significant reduction in loss attributable to equity shareholders for the six months ended June 30, 2025.
