Gangyu Services warns of sharp profit decline; interim earnings may slide 73%-113% YoY

Gangyu Smart Urban Services Holding Limited (Gangyu Services) has issued a profit warning for the six months ended 30 June 2026, signaling a potential swing from profit to loss.

The Board expects profit attributable to equity holders to range between a HK$4.00 million profit and a HK$2.00 million loss, compared with the HK$15.10 million profit recorded in the same period of 2025. This implies a year-on-year contraction of approximately 73.50% to 113.25%.

Management attributes the earnings deterioration to two factors: 1. Expiration of two major environmental hygiene contracts, which materially reduced gross profit. 2. A downward revenue adjustment on a property-management project while service scope was realigned with client expectations.

The figures are based on unaudited consolidated management accounts and remain subject to audit committee review and external audit. Gangyu Services plans to release its full interim results on 28 August 2026.

Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities.
