On the morning of October 27, Agora, Inc. announced a new round of executive appointments, with co-founder Shen Pengfei taking the spotlight to oversee the company's domestic ToB and ToG business expansion and sales system. At the same time, Zhao Binqiang and Ning Ning were promoted to Vice Presidents, with the former focusing on model platform technology and professional product system development, while the latter is responsible for international business expansion and AI consulting implementation.
Accompanying the new executive appointments, the company will upgrade its ToB business system comprehensively with "leadership engineering" as its core strategy, enhancing the capabilities of enterprise large model platform solutions and accelerating commercialization. These three core managers will collaborate to establish a complete ecosystem covering market and sales, models and technology, as well as international and consulting sectors, driving the deepening and practical application of "leadership engineering" globally.
Shen Pengfei boasts over 26 years of experience in the IT and internet sectors, holding a master's degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University. He joined Baidu in 2017, dedicating eight years to the ToB and ToG fields at the company. During this time, he held numerous key positions, including Deputy General Manager of Baidu Smart Cloud for China, Regional General Manager of Baidu Smart Cloud GTM, Vice General Manager of Baidu Security, General Manager of ARM Cloud, and General Manager of IoT Business Operations. His solid technical foundation and keen market insights span across full-stack AI technology, cloud computing, big data processing, security, and IT hardware/software architecture. He has extensive connections with government enterprises and possesses practical experience in leading teams of hundreds to successfully secure and deliver mega projects with a level of "60 billion+".
Zhao Binqiang has been appointed Vice President of AI Models and Professional User Products at Agora, Inc., taking full responsibility for the company's core algorithm R&D in large models, professional Agent application development, and the productivity product line for international users, providing technical support and project delivery for the company's strategic ToB business. He graduated from Tsinghua University and has been involved in the internet algorithm and AI fields for 17 years, previously serving as a senior algorithm expert and algorithm head of the Taobao technical department at Alibaba. He joined Agora, Inc. in 2023 and led the data engineering and full-link training pipeline of the self-developed model. Currently, he oversees the company's model algorithm and Agent innovation R&D, continuing pre-training, post-training, and data engineering work for professional customized solutions within the large model industry.
