美国总统特朗普周四通过社交媒体宣布，本周将不会对欧洲汽车加征关税。在与欧盟委员会主席乌尔苏拉·冯德莱恩通电话后，特朗普表示决定给予欧盟27国更多时间执行与美国达成的贸易协议。
特朗普上周曾威胁将欧盟汽车关税从15%提升至25%，理由是欧盟执行去年双方签署的贸易协议进度缓慢。但本周与欧盟主席通话后，特朗普在Truth Social平台发文称，将给予欧盟直至7月4日最后期限来落实协议。该协议将降低多种美国产品的关税税率。
“我同意将期限延长至我国独立250周年纪念日，否则他们的关税将立即飙升至更高水平，”特朗普在推文中强调。
