IPO News | Zhihui Mining Receives CSRC Filing Approval for Hong Kong IPO

On September 26, the International Cooperation Department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission issued the "Filing Notice for Overseas Issuance and Listing of Tibet Zhihui Mining Co., Ltd." The company plans to issue no more than 140,244,000 ordinary shares and list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

According to the prospectus, Zhihui Mining is a mining company specializing in the exploration, mining, concentrate production and sales of zinc, lead and copper in Tibet, China. Based on data from Shanghai Metals Market, from 2022 to 2024, the company ranked second, third and fifth in Tibet by average annual production of zinc concentrate, lead concentrate and copper concentrate respectively.

The mining operations are located in Rongduo Township, Jiali County, Nagqu City, Tibet. The company's Mengya'a mine primarily consists of an open-pit mine that has been in commercial operation since 2007 and an underground mining project under development. The underground mine is expected to enter commercial operation in the second half of 2025.

The company's mining operations are situated within the state-designated Jinda integrated exploration area, at an altitude between 5,000.0 and 5,300.0 meters, where rich mineral resources have been discovered. The company holds exploration rights covering approximately 58.5 square kilometers and mining rights covering approximately 4.5 square kilometers.
