On October 28, 2025, Li Auto's post-disaster reconstruction project—the Xiayunling Township Nursing Home in Beijing's Fangshan District—held its completion ceremony. Attendees included government officials from Beijing, representatives from the Beijing Charity Association, Li Auto executives, and leaders from the Li Auto Owners Club.
The nursing home was a key reconstruction project following the severe floods that hit Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei in July 2023. The disaster caused significant damage to the facility's infrastructure and living amenities. In response, Li Auto promptly donated 20 million yuan to the Beijing Charity Association for disaster relief and reconstruction efforts. Of this amount, 6.7 million yuan was allocated to renovate the nursing home and procure essential supplies. After two years of upgrades, the facility has transformed from providing basic accommodations to offering high-quality living conditions for elderly residents.
The Xiayunling Township Nursing Home, originally built in the 1980s, serves underprivileged groups, including low-income and disabled individuals. The July 2023 floods severely impacted its structural integrity and facilities. With support from Li Auto and the Beijing Charity Association, the nursing home underwent comprehensive renovations, focusing on safety, comfort, and modernized infrastructure.
At the ceremony, Li Auto's Public Affairs General Manager Yin Lei stated, "From today onward, Xiayunling Nursing Home will remain a lasting connection for Li Auto. We remain committed to our mission of 'creating mobile homes and happy families,' advancing technological progress while fulfilling social responsibilities and contributing to societal well-being."
The nursing home has also been designated as a volunteer service site for Li Auto owners. The company actively promotes corporate-social harmony through initiatives in disaster relief, youth development, and sports sponsorship. Between 2023 and 2025, Li Auto invested nearly 100 million yuan in social welfare programs. This year, it donated 5 million yuan for earthquake relief in Tibet's Tingri County and 10 million yuan for flood recovery in North China.
Additionally, Li Auto supports youth education through its "Sail Plan" school-enterprise partnerships and "Li Auto Youth Charity" activities. The company also contributes to cultural and sports initiatives, such as sponsoring the Beijing Auto Museum and providing vehicles for international sporting events.
Li Auto owners nationwide participate in community welfare efforts, including animal rescue in Beijing and Chongqing, charity store operations in Sichuan, and vocational support for individuals with intellectual disabilities in Nanjing and Suzhou. Moving forward, Li Auto pledges to collaborate with users and society to build a warmer, more inclusive, and sustainable future.
