INNOSCIENCE (02577) surged over 20% in late trading, reaching a high of HK$83.4, setting a new listing record. As of press time, the stock was up 17.31% at HK$81, with trading volume of HK$1.647 billion.
On the news front, NVIDIA's official website updated its 800V DC power architecture partner directory on August 1st, with INNOSCIENCE being the only domestic chip company selected among NVIDIA's partners in this update. The collaboration between the two companies will drive large-scale applications of this architecture in AI data centers, enabling single server room computing power density to increase by more than 10 times and single cabinet power density to exceed 300kW, helping global AI data centers enter the megawatt-level power supply era.
Securities analysts point out that due to the high power consumption of AI server clusters, reducing power consumption is a common pursuit across the industry. With INNOSCIENCE's GaN devices collaborating with NVIDIA, new power devices are expected to be continuously integrated into the supply chain, driving the continuous development of related industrial chains such as GaN and SiC, and investment opportunities in related sectors are viewed favorably.
Industry observers believe that NVIDIA's selection of INNOSCIENCE as its core partner is mainly due to the latter's comprehensive IDM (Integrated Device Manufacturer) advantages spanning from substrate and epitaxy to chip design, packaging and testing, possessing comprehensive capabilities in "technology + capacity + service."
