On 24 November 2025, Persistence Resources Group Ltd (Stock Code: 2489) announced that an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) will take place on 12 December 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Unit 1203B, 1204–05, 12/F, World-Wide House, 19 Des Voeux Road Central, Hong Kong. According to the announcement, the principal item is a special resolution on renaming the company from “Persistence Resources Group Ltd” to “Persistence Gold Group Ltd” and adopting “集海黃金集團有限公司” as its new Chinese dual name, subject to approval by the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands.
In accordance with the announcement, all resolutions will be voted on by poll pursuant to relevant Listing Rules. Shareholders entitled to attend and vote may appoint proxies, who need not be members of the company. Completed proxy forms, along with any required authorization documents, must be submitted to Tricor Investor Services Limited by 10:30 a.m. on 11 December 2025.
The register of members will be closed from 9 December 2025 to 12 December 2025 (inclusive), with the record date set as 12 December 2025. Share transfer documents and accompanying certificates must be lodged with the company’s branch share registrar no later than 4:30 p.m. on 8 December 2025. If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force at or after 9:00 a.m. on the day of the EGM, the meeting will be adjourned; the company will then announce the new date and venue on the websites of the Stock Exchange and the company.
The current board of directors comprises two executive directors, one non-executive director, and four independent non-executive directors. The chairman, chief executive officer, and executive director is noted as Dr. Shao Xuxin, with Mr. Mackie James Thomas serving as an executive director, Mr. Chen Li Bei as a non-executive director, and Dr. Malaihollo Jeffrey Francis A, Mr. Chan Ngai Fan, Dr. Zeng Ming, and Ms. Liu Li as independent non-executive directors.
