On the news front, KLN announced that its pharmaceutical logistics subsidiary KLN Pharma has been appointed by Healthquest Pharma (Hong Kong) as the fourth-party logistics service provider in Hong Kong. Under the agreement, KLN Pharma will comprehensively manage Healthquest Pharma's supply chain, providing logistics solutions that meet temperature-controlled and time-sensitive requirements.
This collaboration encompasses comprehensive logistics services, including inbound logistics, inventory management, order fulfillment, marketing logistics, distribution, and regulatory support for Healthquest Pharma's diversified cardiovascular product portfolio.
It is noteworthy that Kerry Logistics officially rebranded to "KLN" in April this year. Regarding the rebranding rationale, the company's board explained that since SF Holdings Co., Ltd. completed its partial takeover offer in 2021, the company has been actively establishing a distinctive brand image and culture to facilitate the ownership transition. In recent years, the company has more widely adopted the "KLN" brand while reducing the frequency of using the "Kerry" name. The board believes that "KLN" has evolved into a household brand name that customers have become accustomed to.
