On November 8, Li Jian, CEO of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd., was invited to speak at the Internet Entrepreneurs Forum during the World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit, where he shared insights on AI terminal innovations and the implementation progress of the Alpha Strategy. He announced that Honor will launch a Robot Phone next year, integrating AI capabilities, embodied intelligence, and high-definition imaging. Li also proposed the vision of "Building Bridges to the Future, Creating a Smart World" and revealed plans to establish an Alpha Lab.
Li detailed that Honor initiated the "Alpha Strategy" in March this year, committing $10 billion over five years to build a world-leading AI terminal ecosystem in three phases. Significant progress has already been made: products like the Magic8 series are advancing the goal of "creating intelligent smartphones," while the upcoming Robot Phone aims to become "a warm, new intelligent lifeform."
In ecosystem development, Honor has integrated over 4,000 ecosystem MCPs and intelligent agents through its system-level MCP architecture, achieving cross-platform connectivity with HarmonyOS, Android, iOS, and Windows. The recently launched "1×3×N" ecosystem strategy and HONOR AI Connect platform are collaborating with industry partners to build smart home, mobility, and other industrial clusters.
To date, over 70% of Honor’s global workforce is dedicated to R&D, with more than 2,100 AI-related patents, providing strong support for its AI terminal strategy.
