新世界发展近期公布的2025财年业绩显示，公司来自持续经营业务的净亏损达163.02亿港元，较上年同期的118.07亿港元亏损进一步扩大。这一亏损数字明显超出市场预期，直接导致投资者信心受挫，引发股价大幅下跌。
尽管财报数据不佳，但公司首席执行官黄少媚在记者会上表示，减债工作已初见成效。她指出，去年公司的总债务和净债务均有所下降，现金流明显改善并恢复正数，反映集团财务状况开始逐步稳定。然而，新世界发展将继续暂停派发股息和永续债息，并将减债作为首要目标。值得注意的是，尽管当日股价大跌，但该股自年初至今仍累计上涨约48%，明显优于同期恒生综合地产建筑业指数17%的涨幅。
