A new commercial landmark opened in Changsha's high-speed rail district on September 26, as Changsha Shanshan Outlets welcomed over 200,000 visitors on its first day of operation with sales exceeding 15 million yuan, adding a vibrant new chapter to Changsha's commercial landscape.

The complex, which is the first domestic commercial project to integrate "exhibition economy + outlet format," spans approximately 200,000 square meters and houses over 230 stores with more than 2,000 parking spaces. It offers an immersive shopping experience through its unique layout of "shopping complex" + "themed street district" + "shopping complex" + "parking structure."

During the upcoming National Day Golden Week, Changsha Shanshan Outlets has prepared a series of exciting activities. From September 29 to October 5, the "Super Moon Imagination Concert" will be held daily at 7:30 PM in the central atrium of 33Li Lane.

**Over 40 Brands Make Hunan Outlet Debut**

The overall design of Changsha Shanshan Outlets incorporates local Hunan cultural elements inspired by Yuelu Mountain, Liuyang River, Orange Island, and Changsha City, creating an experience that blends international fashion with Hunan local charm.

"It feels great to shop here, with good styles and decent discounts," shared Ms. Li, a Changsha resident, describing her first shopping experience. She noted that the complex breaks the traditional impression of outlets as places for "outdated seasonal items."

Unlike traditional shopping centers, the core appeal of outlet retail lies in its unique "famous brands + discounts" model. For this opening, Changsha Shanshan Outlets has introduced over 230 renowned international and domestic brands, covering luxury goods, international brands, trendy fashion, premium men's and women's wear, sports and outdoor gear, and children's products.

Among these, over 40 brands are entering Hunan's outlet market for the first time, with more than 30 brands opening flagship-scale stores. International brands including BALLY, COACH, LOTTUSSE, MICHAEL KORS, PORTS, FURLA, TOMMY HILFIGER, Calvin Klein, I.T, Karl Lagerfeld, GANT, and LACOSTE cater to the diverse needs of mid-to-high-end consumer groups.

The presence of luxury brand collection stores featuring GUCCI, Alexander McQueen, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and Burberry has elevated the project's overall positioning and filled the high-end consumption gap in the area.

**Creating a "Fashion Lifestyle Center"**

"This is my first time bringing elderly family members to an outlet mall, and it's very convenient that we can enjoy Lingnan cuisine that suits their taste right here in the mall," said customer Ms. Zhang, a loyal outlet shopping enthusiast.

Changsha Shanshan Outlets has introduced numerous popular dining brands beloved by consumers, including Chifan Huangdi Da, Green Grassland, Starbucks, and Chayanyuese, effectively meeting dining and social gathering needs across all age groups and scenarios.

To address parking challenges, Changsha Shanshan Outlets has planned a multi-level parking structure with over 2,000 free parking spaces. After parking, customers can directly access the shopping floors through covered walkways, unaffected by weather conditions.

Below the walkways, the urban lifestyle street district "33Li Lane" features internet-famous dining and rest areas, combined with landscaping and ambient lighting to provide diverse experiences for customers.

Located near Changsha Olympic Sports Center and Changsha International Exhibition Center, the outlet is served by Metro Lines 2 and 4. It offers 5-minute access to Changsha South Railway Station, 15-minute access to Huanghua Airport, and can reach customers throughout the city within a 30-minute radius. The project serves not only Changsha residents but also attracts numerous visitors from surrounding cities and other provinces.

The emergence of this "quality outlet" reflects the domestic outlet industry's ongoing transformation from "brand inventory clearance centers" to "fashion lifestyle centers." Pure discount appeal is weakening as consumers demand higher standards for brand portfolio freshness, shopping environment quality, and leisure experience richness.
