EBW Analytics的Eli Rubin在一份报告中指出：“尽管市场目光都被产量和天气相关的头条新闻所吸引，但若LNG需求的增强趋势得以持续，这或将助力天然气寻得底部支撑。”Rubin进一步分析道，未来数周供应量的增加以及天气的转凉，可能会让纽约商品交易所（Nymex）天然气期货触及季节性低点，随后在秋季迎来回升行情。
具体数据显示，9月交割的天然气期货合约价格下跌2.2%，报每百万英热单位2.672美元。
