ENM Holdings (00128) Announces Profit Turnaround and Plans to Discontinue Fashion Retail Business

Bulletin Express
Oct 23

ENM Holdings Limited (00128) disclosed that, based on preliminary unaudited figures for the nine months ended 30 September 2025, the group expects to post a profit attributable to shareholders of about HK$21.0 million, reversing the HK$7.9 million loss recorded for the year ended 31 December 2024. The main factors include a small profit contribution from the fashion retail division—bolstered by the sale of previously written-down inventories—along with reduced operating costs, the cessation of the resort and recreational club business, and an increase in investment portfolio gains.

The group has decided to discontinue its fashion retail operations. The lease of the remaining store at Horizon Plaza in Ap Lei Chau will not be renewed upon its expiry on 30 November 2025. This decision reflects ongoing operating challenges and persistently weak demand in Hong Kong’s luxury fashion segment. According to the group, ending the fashion retail business is not expected to negatively impact overall performance for the year ending 31 December 2025.

Looking ahead, resources will be reallocated to other business segments, with the group particularly focused on the development potential of the Hilltop land. Professional advisors have been engaged to evaluate strategic options for that property. The final audited results for the year ending 31 December 2025 are anticipated by the end of March 2026.
