IFA 2025: Lenovo Unveils Multiple New Products, from Rotating Screen PCs to Gaming Handhelds

At the Lenovo Innovation World 2025 conference held today, Lenovo Group unveiled its latest AI innovation product portfolio, including new-form AI concept devices, high-performance PCs, smart tablets, immersive gaming devices, and Motorola smartphones, embodying Lenovo's "Smarter AI for All" vision and accelerating the integration of generative AI and hybrid AI into daily work, creation, and entertainment.

"From adaptive form factor products and AI workstations to handheld gaming devices, creator tablets, and smartphones with moto ai support, Lenovo is fully demonstrating the value that technology brings to individuals and enterprises," said Luca Rossi, Executive Vice President of Lenovo Group and President of the Intelligent Devices Group (IDG). "Highly personalized, productivity-enhancing, creativity-inspiring, and data-protecting edge AI is not a vision of the future, but an AI experience happening right now. This is all based on our belief that smarter technology, especially smarter AI, should be accessible and empowering for everyone."

**Smarter Commercial Solutions**

Lenovo Group is reimagining human-device interaction through bold new AI innovations. The Lenovo ThinkBook VertiFlex concept is the industry's first laptop with a 14-inch rotating screen. With a thickness of 17.9mm and weight of 1.39kg, it features a unique rotating display system supporting dual-mode switching between traditional horizontal and vertical orientations. The vertical display mode is ideal for split-screen multitasking, code display, and document viewing scenarios. In vertical display mode, smartphones can seamlessly connect to the PC through Lenovo Smart Connect for file transfer and phone mirroring.

The Lenovo Smart AI Base is the industry's first intelligent multi-directional laptop stand concept product. It innovatively integrates cameras, microphones, and speakers, providing automatic face tracking, voice control, and ergonomic health functions. It also includes an AI ring for gesture-controlled stand rotation.

For professional users, Lenovo expanded its AI commercial workstation product line, led by the redesigned ThinkPad P16 and updated ThinkPad P1, P16v, P16s i, and P14s i. These mobile workstations offer flexible high-performance configurations supporting various levels of AI development and high-performance creative work.

New products also include the Moonlight White ThinkPad X9 Aura AI Edition, with both 14-inch and 15-inch models available in limited quantities.

To meet multitasking and immersive productivity needs, Lenovo introduced the ThinkVision P40WD-40 monitor, a 39.7-inch curved ultra-wide display with 5120x2160 resolution, supporting Thunderbolt 4 one-cable docking station and featuring energy-efficient design to reduce power consumption.

Additionally, the new ThinkPad Smart Dock series enhances display experience, including the 7500 dock with Thunderbolt 5, providing high-speed performance, cloud device management, and support for up to four high-refresh-rate displays.

Earlier this year, ThinkBook's Magic Bay HUD first appeared as the Tiko Pro concept and will soon be available in select markets.

To help customers accelerate AI adoption, Lenovo is piloting the development of device-side AI assistants through its AI Fast Start service program, combined with Intel AI Assistant Builder, helping customers in publishing, healthcare, and finance industries quickly deploy privacy-first, customized AI solutions.

**Creative, Portable, and Immersive Gaming Experience**

For gamers, Lenovo expanded its Legion product portfolio. The Legion Go (8.8-inch, 2nd Gen) handheld gaming device, first introduced as a prototype at CES 2025, is now reaching global markets. This Windows 11-based handheld gaming device builds on the success of the first-generation Legion Go, retaining its original DNA while incorporating key optimizations based on Legion fan feedback.

The new Legion Go supports more comprehensive player customization, whether they're at a desk, on a couch, or on an airplane. The new Legion Go features an 8.8-inch WUXGA 144Hz variable refresh rate OLED display, providing rich, vibrant colors with HDR TrueBlack 1000 certification. It's equipped with AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor and up to 32GB 8000MHz memory, offers up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 storage with support for an additional 2TB microSD slot, and has an upgraded 74Whr battery capacity that's over 50% higher than the previous generation.

Also released are the Legion Pro 7 (16-inch, 10th Gen), LOQ Tower 26ADR10, and three new Legion Pro OLED gaming monitors (32UD-10, 27UD-10, and 27Q-10), combining ultra-fast refresh rates with stunning PureSight visual experience.

Additionally, the second-generation Legion AR smart glasses will receive a free 3D mode software update, unlocking immersive gaming experiences in over 20 game titles for select Legion Go and laptop users.

To simplify daily content creation, Lenovo introduced FlickLift, its first self-developed AI application that helps users directly use AI capabilities within current applications to complete background removal, image enhancement, resolution upscaling, and other image optimizations, with direct insertion into Office documents without window switching, natural interaction, local security, and improved work and creative efficiency. This application will be pre-installed on Yoga, select Ideapad, and Legion models.

Beyond gaming, Lenovo also launched new AI tablets and accessories combining high performance, portability, and personalization. The new Yoga Tab features a 3.2K PureSight Pro display with hybrid AI capabilities and supports the Lenovo Tab Pen Pro stylus for advanced functions like "doodle-to-image."

Also released is the ultra-thin and light Idea Tab Plus, featuring a lightweight and colorful body while integrating AI tools such as Smart Notes, Circle to Search, and large model integration.

**Smarter, More Personalized Mobile Experience**

Motorola also unveiled new members of its smartphone product portfolio, covering different price segments while balancing smart experience, fashionable design, and powerful performance. The Motorola edge 60 neo is compact and stylish, featuring moto ai—Motorola's edge AI suite that enhances photography, productivity, and daily usability. Combined with a triple-camera system equipped with Sony LYTIA sensors and dedicated telephoto lens, the edge 60 neo provides personalized, intuitive experiences from shooting to conversation.

Motorola also launched the moto g06 and moto g06 power, both featuring 6.88-inch displays, AI-driven 50MP camera systems, immersive Dolby Atmos audio, and Circle to Search functionality. The moto g06 power boasts a class-leading 7000mAh battery supporting up to 2.5 days of uninterrupted use, while both models support RAM Boost expansion up to 12GB memory and 256GB storage.
