Chip stocks mixed in morning trading. Arm and Western Digital rose 4%; AMD rose 3%; Micron and KLA Corp. rose 2%; Lam Research, ON Semiconductor, and Intel rose 1%; while Nvidia and TSMC fell 0.2%; ASML fell 0.3%; NXP Semiconductors fell 0.4%; Broadcom fell 0.5%; STMicroelectronics fell 1%.
