Industry research firm LightCounting recently released a report raising its forecasts for shipments of 800G and 1.6T optical modules. It projected that 800G module shipments would more than double by 2026, while 1.6T module shipments would grow from a small base in 2025 to reach tens of millions of ports. A CITIC Securities research report noted that the surge in AI computing demand is driving upgrades in the optical communication industry. Continued expansion in capital expenditure by overseas cloud providers underscores strong demand for AI infrastructure, fueling robust need for high-speed optical modules. Huaxin Securities previously indicated that although the company was affected by exchange rate losses in the fourth quarter of 2025, full-year performance is still expected to maintain an overall growth trend. With sufficient material reserves, technological upgrades, capacity expansion, and customer diversification, the company's performance is poised for continued growth. In 2026, 800G optical modules are expected to remain the primary driver of shipments, while 1.6T modules are set to see significant shipments starting in the first quarter, with an upward trend anticipated.
