Zhong Shanshan, the 71-year-old founder of Nongfu Spring, saw his wealth surge by 190 billion yuan, securing his position as China's richest person for the fourth time with a total fortune of 530 billion yuan—setting a new record for wealth among China's wealthiest individuals.

Fujian province had 51 entrepreneurs on the list, with CATL's Zeng Yuqun topping as Fujian's richest. Xiamen contributed 24 entrepreneurs to the rankings, led by ANTA SPORTS' Ding Shizhong as the city's wealthiest individual.

This marks the 27th consecutive year of the Hurun Rich List since its inception in 1999. The rankings are based on entrepreneurs' residency, with wealth calculated as of September 1, 2025. This year, 1,434 entrepreneurs with personal wealth exceeding 5 billion yuan made the list—a 31% increase (+340 individuals) from last year. Their combined wealth reached nearly 30 trillion yuan, up 42% (+9 trillion yuan) year-on-year.

Among them, 1,198 entrepreneurs saw their wealth grow, including 376 newcomers. The average age of the listed entrepreneurs was 60, one year younger than last year.

**Top 10 on the Hurun Rich List:** 1. **Zhong Shanshan** (71, Nongfu Spring) – Wealth rose by 190 billion yuan to 530 billion yuan, reclaiming the top spot. 2. **Zhang Yiming** (42, ByteDance) – Gained 120 billion yuan due to AI-driven valuation growth but slipped to second place with 470 billion yuan. 3. **Ma Huateng** (54, Tencent) – Added 150 billion yuan, maintaining third place with 465 billion yuan. 4. **Zeng Yuqun** (57, CATL) – Wealth surged by 130 billion yuan to 330 billion yuan, climbing two spots. 5. **Lei Jun** (56, Xiaomi) – Recorded the highest wealth increase (+196 billion yuan), ranking fifth with 326 billion yuan. 6. **Ding Lei** (54, NetEase) – Gained 120 billion yuan, securing sixth place with 320 billion yuan. 7. **Colin Huang** (45, Pinduoduo) – Wealth rose by 69 billion yuan but dropped three spots to seventh (314 billion yuan). 8. **He Xiangjian** (83, Midea) – Added 43 billion yuan, falling three places to eighth (278 billion yuan). 9. **Li Ka-shing** (97, CK Hutchison) – Gained 35 billion yuan but slid three spots to ninth (235 billion yuan). 10. **Li Shufu** (62, Geely) – Returned to the top 10 with an 80 billion yuan increase, ranking tenth (225 billion yuan).

**Xiamen’s 24 Tycoons:** Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing remained the top three cities for wealthy residents, while Fujian had 51 entrepreneurs on the list. Xiamen contributed 24 entrepreneurs—10 more than last year—ranking 12th nationally.

ANTA SPORTS' **Ding Shizhong** led Xiamen’s rankings with 50 billion yuan, followed by his relative **Ding Shijia** (47.5 billion yuan). The father-son duo **Lin Xiucheng** and **Lin Zhiqiang** of San’an ranked third with 16.5 billion yuan.
