CATL demonstrates substantial technological advantages in battery technology, investing 18.6 billion yuan in research and development in 2024, with cumulative R&D spending exceeding 70 billion yuan over the past decade. The company's pioneering mass-production sodium-ion battery achieves an energy density of 175Wh/kg, representing the highest performance among current global sodium-ion batteries.
