As of October 18, the latest bull-bear positioning ratio for the Hang Seng Index stands at 64:36. Data from Citic Securities indicates that the heavy distribution area for bear certificates is in the range of 26,600 to 26,699, with the latest number of bear certificates in this range totaling 657, a decrease of 578 from the previous trading day. The most substantial increase occurred in the 25,900 to 25,999 range, where the latest count of bear certificates rose to 302, an increase of 302 from the last trading day.

In contrast, the heavy distribution area for bull certificates is located in the range of 25,000 to 25,099, currently with 819 bull certificates, reflecting an increase of 178 since the previous trading day. The most significant addition of bull certificates was seen in the range of 24,800 to 24,899, where the latest total now stands at 591, up by 313 certificates compared to the last trading day.
