OpenAI CEO Sam Altman shared a screenshot on social media platform X showing his request to Tesla Motors for a refund of the $50,000 deposit he paid for a Roadster sports car.
Altman described it as a "three-act story," posting three images: one showing his reservation made on July 11, 2018, another displaying his refund request submitted on October 30 this year, and a third revealing that his refund email failed to deliver because Tesla's original reservation email address is no longer active.
In a sarcastic tone, Altman wrote, "I was really excited about this car! I understand delays. But seven and a half years seems like too long."
