3月2日，招商局积余产业运营服务股份有限公司公告称，公司决定放弃收购香港联合交易所上市公司创毅控股有限公司的控股股东所持有的创毅控股267,562,500股股份。
招商积余（001914）表示，公司接到本次商业机会建议后，立即组织开展了研究论证。经反复商讨并综合考量后认为，公司实施该项股权收购的条件不成熟，基于审慎原则，决定放弃本次项目收购机会。
据观点地产新媒体报道，去年12月14日，招商积余公告称，2020年12月11日，招商局集团下属全资公司SSH与联交所上市公司创毅控股控股股东Genesis Group Limited，就收购Genesis Group Limited所持有的创毅控股2.68亿股股份(占创毅控股总股本的53.51%)的意向。
双方签署了《谅解备忘录》，明确《谅解备忘录》签署之日起5个月为排他期，并明确SSH可推荐招商局集团下属控股公司作为收购主体与Genesis Group Limited进行交易。
