STV Group PLC said Tuesday that first-half pretax profit and revenue rose as its diversification strategy continued to deliver, with studios and video-on-demand advertising revenue both higher.
The Scottish broadcaster said that first-half pretax profit was 10.6 million pounds ($12.2 million) compared with GBP8.5 million a year earlier.
Revenue for the period was GBP62.1 million compared with GBP60.3 million a year earlier.
The board proposed an interim dividend of 3.9 pence a share, 5% higher on year.
The company sees its nine-month total advertising revenue slightly down and its nine-month regional and video-on-demand advertising both higher.
