AST SpaceMobile Signs Launch Services Agreements for Space-Based Cellular Broadband Coverage

AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) said late Thursday it struck launch services agreements for space-based cellular broadband service coverage to initially target key markets including the US, Europe, Japan, the US government, and other strategic markets.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

The Cape Canaveral Florida Space Force Station launch campaign, planned during next year and 2026, will use current launch vehicles and Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket for up to roughly 60 Block 2 satellites to low Earth orbit, AST added.

Shares of the company were down more than 13% in recent Friday premarket activity.
