Brightcove (BCOV) said Monday it signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Bending Spoons for $233 million in cash, or $4.45 per share.
The transaction is expected to close during the first half of 2025, after which Brightcove will become a privately held company, it said.
Brightcove shares were 35% higher in premarket trading.
