Elife Holdings (HKG:0223) said the publication of its interim results for the six months ended Sept. 30 and its dispatch will be delayed as the company requires more time to gather and review certain necessary documents, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The brand and supply chain management company expects to publish and dispatch the results by Jan. 31, 2025, which were previously required to be published on or before Nov. 30.
The company has also taken some measures regarding the delay including setting up an independent board committee to investigate the cause of the delay in the publication of results, suspending certain executive directors, and re-designating certain executive directors to non-executive directors.
Trading in the company's shares was suspended on Monday and will stay effective until the company's annual results are published.
Shares of the company were nearly 4% down right before the suspension in trading.
