Rayonier (RYN) disclosed late Monday an agreement with Reliant Carbon Capture & Storage affiliate covering about 104,000 acres in Alabama.
The company did not disclose the financial details of the "underground pore space easement" agreement.
Reliant captures carbon dioxide emissions from power plants and industrial facilities and sequesters it in subsurface geologic formations.
