China Bright Culture Group (HKG:1859) expects a consolidated loss attributable to shareholders of about 7 million yuan to 8 million yuan for 2024, a significant reduction from 1.29 billion yuan in the previous fiscal year.
The upbeat forecast was attributed to the absence of one-off impairments and write-offs incurred in 2023, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
Trading in the company's shares, suspended on March 2023, remains halted.
