Karrie International Holdings' (HKG:1050) subsidiary KarTech Thai Industrial agreed to purchase 70,019 square meters of land in Thailand from Amata Corporation Public (SET:AMATA) for HK$115.4 million, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The land comprises three land parcels and is located in Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate and the group plans to construct a new production plant for the manufacture of server chassis and related server peripheral products on the said land.
To fulfill the customer's order while the construction of the group's new plant is carried out, Karwin Thai Advanced Technology Industrial, another subsidiary of the company, agreed to lease 7,832 square meters of land in Amata City Industrial Estate, General Zone, Chonburi Province, Thailand from Amata Summit Ready Built.
The lease includes a building with a site area of 4,983 square meters on the leased land. The lease term is for 37 months, starting from April 1, 2025, to April 30, 2028. The monthly rent for the leased premises is around HK$246,409.
