1 月 16 日，韩国加密交易平台 Upbit 的运营公司 Dunamu，针对近期有关该平台可能受到韩国金融服务监管局（FSS）下属金融情报分析院（FIU）暂停业务处罚的报道，进行了正式回应。Dunamu 明确表示，金融监管机构的处罚计划尚未最终确定，并将通过包括制裁审查委员会在内的后续流程来澄清所提出的问题。同时，Dunamu 也强调，即便处罚最终实施，也不会对现有用户和新用户的加密货币交易服务造成影响。处罚措施仅会限制新用户在特定时间内从 Upbit 平台转出虚拟资产。
此前报道，据金融界 16 日消息，金融委员会金融情报分析院（FIU）于本月 9 日向 Upbit 发出与违反《特定金融交易信息法》相关的制裁内容预通知，核心内容是营业暂停。如果该处分最终确定，Upbit 将在营业暂停期间（最长 6 个月）被限制进行新客户相关业务。
