EBR Systems' Wireless Pacing System Gets Accepted into US Reimbursement Pathway; Shares Reach All-Time High

EBR Systems' (ASX:EBR) WiSE system was accepted into the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' Transitional Coverage for Emerging Technologies reimbursement pathway, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

WiSE technology is a wireless pacing system designed to stimulate the heart's left ventricle.

The pathway is designed to expedite Medicare coverage for a select group of breakthrough devices designated by the US Food and Drug Administration, enabling early access to innovative medical technologies, the filing said.

Shares rose nearly 1% in midday trade Monday and earlier reached an all-time high.
