Amalgamated Financial Raises Quarterly Dividend to 14c per Share

Amalgamated Financial's board approved a 17% increase to the company's quarterly dividend, raising it to 14 cents per share from 12 cents.

The company said the new dividend, 56 cents per share on an annual basis, will be payable on Feb. 27 to shareholders of record on Feb. 11.

The new dividend represents a yield of about 1.5%, based on the $36.60 closing price of the company's shares on Wednesday.

Amalgamated Financial last raised its dividend in April to 12 cents a share from 10 cents.

Amalgamated Financial is the parent company of New York-based Amalgamated Bank.
