Ridley (ASX:RIC) reported Thursday that its earnings per diluted share in the fiscal first half fell to AU$0.065 from AU$0.066 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting EPS of AU$0.075.
Revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$658.9 million, up from AU$637.8 million in the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected AU$665.7 million.
The provider of animal nutrition solutions expects its growth plan to deliver AU$5 million per annum in cost savings from fiscal 2026.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.0475 per share, up from the AU$0.044 in the previously reported period, payable on April 24 to shareholders on record as of April 4.
Shares of RIC fell almost 6% in recent Thursday trade.
