收益减少主要是由于回顾财政年度内，本地居民的休闲娱乐习惯转变，选择于周末短途旅行，前往中国香港以外地区(尤其是深圳及大湾区)购物和用餐的人数激增。另一方面，虽然访港旅客人次于2024下半年比上半年增加逾10%至约2300万，但港人入境深圳人次较同期内地来港旅客多近一倍，逆差甚大，严重打击香港本地的餐饮、零售行业，对集团的本地销售表现造成不利影响。在可见的未来，北上消费趋势很可能持续。
