美亚控股(01116.HK) 公布，建议将其公司英文名称由“Mayer Holdings Limited”更改为“Huiyuan Cowins Technology Group Limited”，并采纳中文名称“慧源同创科技集团有限公司”为其新双重外文名称以取代其现有中文名称“美亚控股有限公司”。
公告指，“美亚”名字在中国有很多不同行业都使用此名称引起商业混乱。该集团过往的业务只是传统加工业。为调整发展路向，自2023年以来已实现业务多元化，在中国已成立中农美亚北京农业科学研究院，现计划更名为纳米相变科学研究院，并正对接政府科技部门的项目申报正名事宜，以全面展开相关业务。
集团认为，建议更改公司名称将更好地反映未来的策略方向，并将令企业形象焕然一新，有利于未来的业务发展。(js/j)(港股报价延迟最少十五分钟。)
