Samsung Electronics (KRX:005930) and LG Electronics (KRX:066570) will roll out AI-driven air conditioner check-up services to ensure efficient cooling before summer, Pulse News reported.
Samsung's program features SmartThings AI Diagnosis for self-checks and technician support.
Meanwhile, LG will use the Smart Check app for wireless inspections without disassembling components, the report said.
Shares of Samsung slid 1% at market close on Wednesday, while those of LG rose 1%.
