0636 GMT - Nordic markets may open lower with IG calling the OMXS30 down 0.5% at around 2655. Uncertainty around the potential effects of a trade war weighed on the stock market yesterday, despite housing and jobs data showing that the U.S. economy is holding up, SEB analysts say in a note. Policy meetings from the Fed, Bank of Japan, Bank of England, and SNB this week have all mostly pointed to tariffs clouding the outlook, which risks giving investors the feeling that the world is flying blindly, SEB adds. Major U.S. and European equity markets fell yesterday and Asian markets are falling this morning. Today, the market faces a test when an estimated $4.5 trillion in options contracts expire. The "triple witching" often increases volatility, SEB adds. OMXS30 closed at 2668.76, OMXN40 at 2568.60 and OBX at 1466.72. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
