Canggang Railway (HKG:2169) recorded a decline in attributable profit in 2024 to 56.5 million yuan from 59.0 million yuan in the year-ago period, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
Earnings per share were 0.0147 yuan in the year, down from 0.0152 yuan in 2023.
Revenue for the railway operator fell by 26% to 258.9 million yuan in the year from 349.0 million yuan a year prior, mainly due to a lower revenue from rail freight transportation and ancillary businesses.
The firm recommended a final dividend of 0.006 yuan per share for the year, payable on or around July 9 to shareholders of record on June 27.
