Fosun International Swings to Attributable Loss in 2024; Shares Fall 6%

Fosun International (HKG:0656) booked an attributable loss to owners of 4.35 billion yuan in 2024 compared with an attributable profit of 1.38 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Friday.

Loss per share came in at 0.53 yuan compared with earnings per share of 0.17 yuan in the comparable period.

Revenue declined to 192.1 billion yuan from 198.2 billion yuan a year earlier, mainly due to a decrease in revenue from the happiness business segment.

The board proposed a final dividend of HK$0.02 per share for the year ended Dec. 31, 2024.

Shares of the company plunged over 6% in late-morning trade Monday.
