此前白宫与马斯克本人均否认其将彻底退出DOGE，但强调其职务为“暂时性安排”。

自2024年11月被任命为DOGE联合负责人以来，马斯克一直面临“科技领袖”与“政府顾问”双重身份的平衡挑战。尽管白宫发言人此前表示，马斯克在DOGE的职责是“阶段性任务”，旨在推动政府数字化改革与预算削减，但外界对其长期参与仍存疑虑。此次财报电话会议被视为马斯克首次正式回应这一问题的窗口。

分析人士指出，特斯拉当前正处于关键转型期：一方面，公司正加速推进自动驾驶出租车（Cybercab）与Optimus人形机器人商业化；另一方面，市场对其全球电动车市场份额下滑、4680电池量产进度等问题仍存担忧。在此背景下，马斯克若选择减少政府事务参与，或被视为聚焦核心业务的信号。
